It looks like Santa has lost his way on a snowy Christmas Eve and has stopped to check his map and the signposts. Hollyton is one way and Ivybury the other, but which way should he go? His reindeer are just glad to have a quick rest and they are all getting lots of attention from the animals who have gathered to say “hello”. Strangely most of the humans in the distance don’t seem to have noticed Santa and his sleigh – only the little boy seems to appreciate quite what’s happening!

We love the way artist Roy Trower has illustrated the twinkling lights on the trees, the snow covered cottages and the fantastic array of presents. The fur on the reindeers looks so real you can almost stroke it!
