Peppa Pig is a British children's television programme featuring Peppa the pig and her family and friends. Each episode is approximately 5 minutes long, and each of Peppa’s friends is a different mammal. All the characters are very cute and loveable and the animation style echoes this. It is a fun and colourful show for young children to enjoy. Episodes explore everyday activities from a young child’s perspective such as attending playgroup, going swimming, visiting grandparents, going to the playground or riding bikes.
Have fun with Peppa Pig, whilst learning about colours and developing all-important manual dexterity skills.
Slip one of the coloured pictures of Peppa and her friends under the transparent, chunky plastic peg board. Then position the large, shaped, chunky coloured counters over the top, carefully matching the colours. If your child wants to create different coloured versions, turn the picture over, as the reverse side shows black and white outlines, just waiting to be "coloured" with the counters.
Colourino contains 4 double-sided pictures, 1 transparent peg board and 24 high quality coloured plastic counters (6 different colours). The scenes show full colour on one side and black and white on the reverse. Peg board measures 31.5 x 21.5cm approximately. Pictures measure 31 x 21cm. Counters measure 3.3cm diameter by 1.4cm deep. A clever colouring activity for ages 2+
"Children love to draw! Create some beautiful Mandala designs with this unique drawing activity. Mandalas are geometric circular designs, and you can create your own by using the plastic stencil and base tray provided. The age-appropriate materials appeal to their curiosity, while encouraging the development of fine motor skills, concentration and self confidence as they play.
Pop a sheet of paper between the drawing frame and the template, and you are ready to draw around the shapes. Turn the stencil inside the base tray and draw again … Each stencil is marked with 16 arrows, which allows you to rotate the stencil inside the frame one sixteenth of a rotation. This unique mechanism helps you to create some lovely symmetrical designs.
You can use your unique mandalas to decorate anything from placemats, photo frames and gift boxes to book covers and party favours. With an infinite number of possible designs that can be created, Mandala-Designer® will accompany your child on a brightly coloured journey of imagination and creation.
