Driver Dan was conceived by Rebecca Elgar, a well known and successful children's author and illustrator. From its beginning as a television series focussed on sharing books and engaging with stories, and our Driver Dan's Story Train collection is designed to stimulate and encourage the natural story play of children.
Learning to enjoy the process of sharing books and stories from an early age increases a child's chances of early literacy and boosts their communication skills, confidence and later educational achievement.
